May I Live In This Life I Know
May I live in this life I know
Helping people as I go
May I touch someone's heart
I hope they remember me
And never will we part
May I live with my soul
Give love to someone I do not know
Can you look in my eyes
Do you see the reflection in the stars
I have tried my best, to get you through life's test
Never take the gift from your heart
And give it away, for there is only one you
No one else can understand, what to do
Do not cry any tears, for Jesus is here
When you are lost, or in despair
You are never alone out there
The love to create,
Is in writing about the life you face
I will give away my cares and worries
Jesus carry me, for I know I am weak
It is so hard for me to see, take me on this road, so deep
Hold onto my shoulder
I know for my life You care
Let me touch the sun and the waves of an ocean
No one can touch me, without going through the Son.

WIND BENEATH MY WINGS
As nightime comes to greet me I look at the stars so bright You come as the wind beneath my wings I see your
beauty shining bright When morning dawns There is the love of God for me He put us together So we will
always be You are the wind beneath my wings Through your eyes I now can see All the beauty of your world Angel
love you are to me Your wings fly you to my heart As God's love you show to me He paints with all the colors The
hope of life you help me see Together we will feel the glory Of Jesus' perfect light You are my wind beneath
my wings A friend, both day and night Linda Ann Henry © 2006 Do you remember me The people's poet Linda11231949@aol.com

WINGS
I ask for someone to love me I ask for someone to care I ask for someone to give me wings So I can fly in the
air. I ask for someone to hold me I ask for someone to see I ask someone to listen I ask someone to
be. Give me wings of a butterfly So I can touch the sky Give me your heart Never asking why. I
can see rainbows Flowers all around I can feel angels Lifting me off the ground. I ask to hold on to
beauty A love that is all my own He does not have to be handsome As long as he turns me upside down. Give
me wings to wander Give me a life which is complete Give me romance of my own So I never have to weep. I
ask for wings that are golden Colors which make the sun shine A love to last forever Someone who is mine. Linda

RAINBOW OF HOPE
Look for a rainbow When you feel there is no hope Ask God to hold and keep you close to Him For then there is
always a blessing Some hope to softly creep in If you are suffering And the pain is just too much to bear Look
for a lovely rainbow It is always shining there If something tragic happens To turn your life all upside
down Like when you lose a loved one In the sadness, eternity is found If you feel your heart is broken Your
soul you cannot see Then look for a beautiful rainbow God's light is in the clouds And high up in the trees Hope
is a gift God gave to one and all Look for it in the dewdrops or in a waterfall And when you find the rainbow On
a clear day or when it rains It is a promise, God never leaves your side He is the miracle in your pain Look
for a wondrous rainbow Hope is never far away In the birds that fly or a blade of grass Never doubt that it will
come Within your heart someday. Linda Ann Henry © 2006 Do you remember me The people's poet Linda11231949@aol.com Written for all the people who feel there is no hope. Hope is the very reason you were born. Who knows,
there may be a doctor, a pastor or even a person unknown, who's work will become famous from helping with life's illnesses. You
cannot ask for better hope then this.

MY MOST PRECIOUS FATHER
My most precious Father Your great love is in my soul Every part of me, you created I see you in the blue sky Which
you made for me In the stars at night I see your face and smile My most precious Father I wish to kiss
your beloved feet Whenever I need you All I do is smell the fragrant air Watch the promise of a rainbow Listen
to the proud owl The birds you made to share I see the little children Whom you care for above all You
who wrote the greatest poem In 'The Lord's Prayer' Who let the angels sing In moonlight's glow My most
precious Father I look at this world and see the beauty You alone have painted Wherever I go Everything is Your
creation You died because You loved me Eternal life became your gift I pray now in gratitude You accepted
me into your heart My precious Father No one cares for me like You My soul which You created Is your
everlasting love I could not have a better Father Than the one I see in heaven above Linda Ann Henry ©

Oh, Sweet Mystery
I see you as in heaven
On purest angel's wings
You are so close to me
My soul can hear you sing
I have always loved you
And this you always knew
I hide you in my heart
You are mine, forever true
I remember how we sang
Our sweet mystery of life
I can still feel your warmth
For I kiss you every night
It will not be long
'Til we meet at heaven's gate
I wish for all to understand
Why this is our fate
On wings I always fly
To my darling in the sky
Happy as us two
God is forever true
I hold you in my arms
You are mine, I always knew.

The people's poet
In days gone by, people hid their love for others and kept it quiet.
By doing this, they spent their whole life looking for the bluebird of happiness, which as most of
us know, is right in front of us all the time.

AN ANGEL ON MOTHER'S DAY
When the wind blows in the air I see little butterflies everywhere Mother's Day will soon be here I love you
mom, for you helped me see The beauty God gave to me
I call your name on an ocean breeze I hold out my hand and wait for you to come to me On angel wings I see your
face once again The love you gave, your smiling soul Tells me I have done what you told
I am glad you are so proud Of who I became, You knew I could make it You are blessed, on this Mother's Day For
me, a comfort you gave
I always have you in my heart Your many gifts to me Are in my soul My Dearest Mother, To Jesus, I will let
you go.

TEARS WILL WASH MY EYES
It was an ordinary day, she had no reason to cry As you walked out the door, You softly wiped tears from her eyes When
you left, she felt empty somehow, she did not know why You called her in horror, with tears in your eyes You
told her planes had struck the twin towers People were dying and you did not know if you would come home She started
to scream, her worse nightmare now real as she heard how these terrorists from Iraq Died for religion alone. Tears
now were washing her eyes Will there ever be peace again Will there only be smoke filled skies Or will the air clear
So all can see the horizon And find freedom from this fear She was so calm when she heard the news Her
husband high-jacked His last words 'Let's roll em' She heard how all the passengers Said The Lord's Prayer, as
friend to friend They stood in a circle Going to their death To reach heaven Led by one great hockey player to
the end. And his precious wife, tears washing her eyes Remembered only a few hours before How her husband
touched her with his hands The sadness had begun, Yet, he died a brave man, On September eleven, two thousand and
one. Let us all remember Those brave men of our land, The women and children Who died for freedom and
the American flag Linda Ann Henry © 2002 Do you remember me The people's poet Linda11231949@aol.com Only when you lose someone for a great cause, do we realize how important freedom and the American flag truly
is.

CAN I FIND A RAINBOW AND A BUTTERFLY
Can I find a rainbow and a butterfly Way up in the sky Can I take your hand and fly up high If I go to a little
park, sit on a bench for two When I ask you if you need a friend Will both our dreams come true Can I see
a rainbow and a butterfly If I look past the clouds I know I can be happy now Since I found you as a friend Life
will keep on going For me there is no end I see a butterfly, flying in the wind A rainbow comes up after
the rain There are beautiful colors in the air I wish I could find a love who can feel what is in my soul He will
love me for me and never let me go Can you see with your eyes, love with your heart A love for both, that we will never
part Can you see a rainbow and a butterfly I see it with hope in my eyes How does the butterfly never tires
in the trees The rainbow is as proud as it can be Give me the wonders of nature The gift of love Give
me wings to fly As I see the people pass by God's art is so wonderful It always grows new life I am so happy when
I see a butterfly in flight Linda Ann Henry Do you remember me The people's poet LINDA11231949@AOL.COM

A FRAGILE FLOWER
Have you ever seen a fragile flower Which flows against the wind You may smell it and hold it And hope that
it will sing
I am a beautiful flower I wish most every day That I will find happiness All along the way
If you would pick me off the vine Maybe give me a little time I would smile, hug you too The sun would warm
me Love enough for two
I am caring, kind and loving A fragile flower beautiful and new If taken care of Will live my life all through
I thank you for wanting a flower, such as I Now there are other flowers I am not the only one I am blessed with
a new day And a bright sun Linda Ann Henry Do You Rememeber Me The People's Poet

A WHITE BUTTERFLY
A white butterfly I saw her fly Into the air, into the sky So pure and so rare I see her kiss flowers, everywhere Sometimes
she looks at the view Her bright eyes, see me and you A circle around us, as we dance For we found true love, we
are in a trance A white butterfly, singing a song One we will remember our whole life long We can grow
wings as white as snow Together we see ourselves, in cloud and rainbows Two white butterfly, loving and true We will
always be one, me and you. Linda Ann Henry Do you remember me The people's poet LINDA11231949@AOL.COM

THE OCEAN
The ocean is very wide and very deep When I dream I smell the breeze Which is so sweet, I see the never ending
waves I wonder where they go.... Do they go to a land, that I could know Birds fly in the wind, catching fish with eyes
so keen I can hear the sound, I wonder what it means The ocean so blue, like the clouds of the sky Part
of life, flying by Let me open my arms, let me feel the wind I can go to another time and I know I will fit in I
want to sail on a boat and hold my fingers in the cool water As the waves come to me, I am one with the ocean My life
is now free, let me taste the drops upon my lips I feel the souls of those I know For everything I am, is in the ocean
deep below All that is me, is a song from a breeze The ocean is a love, I could never explan Like me, it will always
be there just the same Linda Ann Henry © 2005 Do you remember me The people's poet Linda11231949@aol.com The greatest single distinguishing feature of the omnipotence and love of God is that our imagination gets
